Ms. Gibson, an elementary school teacher, and her husband, a 36-year-old cyber security analyst, are affiliated with the National Embryo Donation Center (NEDC), a Christian nonprofit in Knoxville that stores frozen embryos that in vitro fertilization patients don’t make decisions have to use and decided to donate instead.
