Amanpour: Harry and Megan Oprah interview ‘will not be a simple trip’

Millions of people around the world are expected to hear Oprah Winfrey’s two-hour interview special with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Oprah runs a media empire valued at nearly $ 2 billion and the program caters to the couple with a huge global audience.

Christiane Amanpour, CNN’s chief international anchor, was interviewed by Oprah in 2005.

She says Oprah’s interview style is empathetic and while she’s not an investigative reporter, her interviews are “forensic research” and Meghan and Harry are not getting an easy ride despite their friendship.
