Fit in or stand out? Serving existing markets or serving in untapped markets? As the online entrepreneurship market becomes increasingly saturated and we feel increasingly overwhelmed by the amount of information available to us online, we have reached a point where we have no choice but to back off and reevaluate, what is important to us.

Commonly referred to as the red or blue ocean strategy, entrepreneurs can craft an offering that is so unique and differentiated that they can stand out from the market instead of drowning in a bloodstained red ocean.

Here are three ways you can stand out on a humane rather than a strategic level in a saturated online marketplace.

Know what applies to you, not what applies to others

It is easy for people to follow the stick out strategies the way things have always been done. But as the world, society and people develop, so too does the way we do business.

Many find this challenging because they lack deep awareness and confidence in themselves. They fear that if they use their own intuition and deep inner knowledge, it may not bring them the success that everyone else does.

Lasting and sustainable business success depends on doing what feels good to you at every step. While other strategies can help you feel uninspired and unfulfilled when it doesn’t feel good to you.

Challenge the status quo of business

Of course, as humanity moves to heightened awareness and awareness, we begin to create a new paradigm for business.

Questioning the status quo is not a common wish among executives. According to the Harvard Business Review, 72 percent of executives say they rarely, never, or rarely question their status quo in business.

Leading and serving from the inside out means getting to know each other first and foremost. This can be a fulfilling journey of self-discovery for many, finding their own purpose and truth. This can be largely suppressed when we work in a typical traditional profession that does not meet our highest desires.

To challenge the status quo of business, one fearless and courageous decision must be made at a time.

Find your “Zone of Genius”

Gay Hendricks identified 4 different zones of genius in his book The Big Leap.

In the “zone of genius” we can use our innate gifts and abilities, which we take for granted. In this zone we become in the flow and recognize what we are uniquely gifted for, and often find ourselves better than others in a certain area.

In Hendricks’ book, he asks you to wonder what you are doing, what doesn’t seem like work, and what brings you ultimate joy, satisfaction, and abundance at the same time.

If you want to stand out from others in a saturated online marketplace, you need to find what you take for granted and take advantage of this unique gift and skill. We often try to do things that other people take for granted by mimicking their steps and strategies while ignoring or denying our truest and innermost abilities and gifts.

To live full and fulfilling lives we must enjoy what we do, including the way we conduct our business on a daily basis. By focusing on what feels good to you (and not to others), we can ultimately achieve the level of joy and freedom we are all looking for.
