Hip-hop artist and prison reform activist Robert Rihmeek Williams, also known as Meek Mill, gave back to his city again when he surprised 35 Philadelphia families earlier this week.
According to the Instagram report from Mills’ organization Reform Alliance, the rapper had given a ton of toys and Christmas gifts to 35 individual families.

“This week, REFORM founding partner @MeekMill & @dreamchasers surprised 35 families affected by the justice system in Philadelphia with laptops, iPads, Xbox consoles, clothing and other toys and gifts for Christmas.
“Thanks to @puma, @gopuff and DocuVault for your generous support and to @pastorcarlday and @aboveallodds__ for helping us bring this holiday season back!”
“It’s been a tough year for all of us, but with all the ups and downs, I’ll always do my part to support and give back to the Philly community that raised me,” Meek told Complex. “I remember not growing up much, so it is important to use my platform to give back, especially for the families who are trying to care for their children while dealing with the criminal justice system.”
Mill also donated $ 30,000 to an organization called Twelve Days of Christmas Inc., according to CBSN Philly. The organization was at Paul Robeson High School and spread love and vacation joy by donating gifts, groceries, and helping economically disadvantaged families.
“It was just an amazing experience. I cannot express how proud I am of our school community that they come together to support these families, ”said Robeson Director Richard Gordon.
“We live the mission and passion of 12 Christmas days. We provide vacation fun for families who are less well off, ”said Stephanie Mays Boyd, president of the Philadelphia Chapter.
