The NASA rover Perseverance landed successfully on the surface of Mars seven months after leaving Earth.
By landing on Jezero Crater, the search for evidence of ancient life on the Red Planet can now begin.
For this purpose, the robot drills rock and soil samples and collects them for later analysis.
