Nobel Peace Prize for World Food Program

The United Nations World Food Program received the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for its global efforts to fight hunger amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“The need for international solidarity and multilateral cooperation is more evident than ever. Then the Norwegian Nobel Committee decided to award the World Food Program the Nobel Peace Prize for 2020 for its efforts to combat hunger, for its contribution to improving conditions for peace in conflict-affected areas and as a driving force in the prevention efforts as the use of hunger Weapon of war and conflict. ““ The World Food Program has so much to offer in 83 countries around the world, and we are so excited. We hope this will be even more fuel for a branch of a very dedicated humanitarian worker working in some of the most difficult to reach areas in very difficult circumstances – often abandoned, traveling, leaving their families behind to serve humanity . “
