This 12-12 months Outdated Simply Began His 2nd 12 months in Faculty, Majoring in Aerospace Engineering

Caleb Anderson, a 12-year-old gifted boy from Georgia, has just finished his sophomore year and just started his sophomore year. He is studying aerospace engineering at Chattahoochee Technical College.

Caleb was only 9 months old when he learned to sign more than 250 words. He finally learned to speak and read when he was 11 months old. In addition to the English language, he also learned Spanish, French and Mandarin.

Caleb’s parents, Claire and Kobi, knew he was special and have supported him a lot ever since.

“When we started interacting with other parents and had other children, we realized how extraordinary this experience was because we had no other frame of reference,” Kobi told CBS News.

At the age of 3, Caleb qualified for MENSA. He joined when he was 5 years old, making him the youngest African American boy to be inducted at the time.

Caleb has exceptional from elementary school through middle and high school. His mom said Caleb found this boring and not challenging, so he wanted to go to college and he’d been enjoying it so far.

“It was exactly what I expected when I was 18 or so,” Caleb said.

Caleb has two other younger siblings, Aaron and Hannah, who are also gifted. Her parents are all proud of her and encourage other parents to develop their children’s potential.

In addition, Caleb is scheduled to graduate at the age of 14. He plans to continue his studies at Georgia Tech as well as MIT.
