Adele Turns ‘The Bachelor’ Into A Mini Live performance, Will get The Boot – .

Adele made her Saturday Night Live hosting debut tonight, but instead of bringing her musical talent to the Studio 8H stage, the Grammy winner took it to the undergraduate mansion.

In a sketch inspired by the ABC dating series, Adele joined a number of cast members who might fit Beck Bennett’s bachelors.

“I’m here because I’ve had a lot of heartbreak in my life. First at 19, then at 21, then even more famous at 25, “said the singer, referring to her three albums.

Impressing the bachelor to entice him isn’t all that different from what happens in the real-life ABC series, but during the SNL skit, Adele took it to a whole different level. At every opportunity, the singer broke into a song and played one of her top chart hits. (The musical guest tonight was SHE; Adele stated during her monologue that her album wasn’t finished yet.)

When she felt the bachelor’s eyes were on someone else, Adele started her numbers, including “Someone Like You” and “Rolling in the Deep”. However, their musical numbers were also useful for intimate moments with Bennett’s bachelors.

“This is a talk show,” the bachelor Adele had to remind, after she turned a compliment into a performance of “When We Were Young”.

“Oh yes, I forgot,” she replied.

While her singing chops may have outperformed those of her competitors, Adele’s inability to stay on her trail eventually got her booted. Before the singer left the show, however, she refused to leave silently and resumed her performance of “Someone Like You” exactly where it left off.

“Thank you everyone,” she says to the SNL audience and her competitors The Bachelor. “Catch me on Love Island next week.” Check out the video above.
