Amazon and Sky have signed a “long-term partnership” in which Amazon Prime Video will be rolled out on Sky and Now TV devices across Europe starting today, while Now TV and Sky Ticket will be broadcast on Fire TV.
Financial details were not disclosed, but that means Sky customers can watch Amazon originals like The Grand Tour and Truth Seekers in addition to Sky shows like The Undoing.
“As winter sets in and our new binge watch obsession The Wilds is about to start, it’s a perfect time for Sky customers to catch up on our award-winning Prime Video TV shows, movies and live sports,” said Jay Marine. Vice President of Prime Video Worldwide.
Stephen van Rooyen, EPP & CEO UK and Europe at Sky, added: “Sky Q customers will receive an early Christmas present this year on their boxes in the form of Amazon Prime Video.”
