Anne Heche To Recur On Season 2 Of CBS Authorized Drama – .

EXCLUSIVE: Anne Heche has joined the cast of the second season of CBS legal drama All Rise in a recurring role.

Heche will play Corrine Cuthbert, a notorious trial attorney who is often called upon by police unions to defend officials charged with violent crimes. She is wickedly smart and uses humor as a distraction while verbally destroying anyone in her way.

All Rise follows the chaotic, hopeful, and sometimes absurd lives of its judges, prosecutors, and public defenders, who work with bailiffs, clerks, and police officers to bring the people of Los Angeles to justice in a flawed legal process. Among them is the newly appointed judge Lola Carmichael (Simone Missick), a highly respected and impressive deputy prosecutor who in her new role does not want to sit back on the bank, but rather bends forward, immediately pushes the boundaries and questions expectations of what a judge can be. Marg Helgenberger, Jessica Camacho, Lindsay Mendez and Ruthie Ann Miles can also be seen in the series.

Creator / co-showrunner Gregg Spottiswood, Len Goldstein, Michael Robin and co-showrunner Dee Harris-Lawrence are executive producers for Warner Bros Television.

Heche recently appeared as Assistant Superintendent Katherine Brennan on Chicago PD and Patricia Campbell, Assistant Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency on NBC’s The Brave. She was previously the co-producer, producer, and writer on the NBC series Bad Judge with Kate Walsh. She recently appeared in the feature film My Friend Dahmer.
