AOC Targets Joe Manchin With Commie Dying Stare After Fellow Dem Rips Progressive Motion’s “Loopy Socialist Agenda” and Name to Defund Police

There is a saying, “If you throw a rock at a pack of dogs, the dog that howls is the one you hit.” Well, moderate Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) threw a big old stone at the progressive wing of the Democratic Party and got a big response from the squad leader, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

Manchin tweeted his comment on Wednesday night on an interview with Salena Zito published in the Washington Examiner, saying, “Defund the police? Defund, my butt. I am a proud Democrat from West Virginia. We are the party of working men and women. We want to protect American jobs and health care. We don’t have a crazy socialist agenda and we don’t believe in defusing the police. “

Manchin is a 73-year-old former two-term governor of West Virginia who has won three straight Senate races, including one to end the tenure of the late Senator Robert Byrd (D-WV). Manchin has been in the Senate since November 2010 and won re-election in 2018 in its increasingly red state.

Ocasio-Cortez is a 31-year-old former bartender and new Congresswoman who just won re-election in a far-left safe district in New York City.
