President Biden’s new constitutionally dubious national vaccination mandate for medium to large companies, announced Thursday, gave broadcasters the coverage they needed to crack down on the unvaccinated. They rolled around in violent rhetoric as they praised the President for “taking off their gloves,” “taking a” hammer “against them, and” letting them face the consequences. ” One even scoffed at the legal issues, suggesting that Biden only did what he had to do.
NBC Nightly News host Lester Holt was overtly violent when he described Biden pulling out a blunt gun that he could use to beat the unvaccinated into submission. “Obviously frustrated with the pace of COVID-19 vaccinations in this country, President Biden is trading a velvet glove for a hammer tonight.“He touted,” unveiling a broad and largely new COVID strategy, heavily based on vaccine mandates, designed to compel millions of American workers to vaccinate. “
Sympathy for Biden’s frustrations was a common theme on the evening news broadcasts. It was the apology ABC anchor David Muir gave in World News Tonight for Biden’s threat against Republican governors:

Overall, his new plan covers two-thirds of American workers.
Specifically targeting the nearly 80 million eligible Americans who refused to be shot, he said, “Your refusal will cost us all” as hospitals fill up with unvaccinated COVID patients.
