‘At present’ Provides Editor’s Word To Report That Biden Blanked On Trump’s Title – .

When interviewed by George Lopez and Ana Navarro during a campaign concert on Sunday, Joe Biden made reference to “four more years of George” at one point before making it clear that he was referring to Donald Trump.

Trump’s election campaign, however, proceeded as another in their attempts to view his opponent as senile.

“In my opinion, the character of the country is literally on the ballot. What kind of country we will be,” says Biden in the video. “Another four years George, uh … George, if Trump is elected, we’ll be in another world.”

While the Trump campaign and media outlets like Fox News, the New York Post, and NBC’s Today took this to mean that Biden was mistakenly referring to the current president as George W. Bush, Biden actually spoke to Lopez and possibly slightly mentioned his name, including himself stumbled a bit in his words.

Navarro and Lopez backed up against George W. Bush’s claim when the video of the Trump campaign was shared and circulated. The President himself wrote on Twitter: “Joe Biden called me George yesterday. I couldn’t remember my name. I got help from the anchor to get him through the interview. The Fake News Cartel is working overtime to cover it up! “

Navarro wrote on Twitter: “That’s a goddamn lie. But that won’t stop them. This is the kind of unethical crap they do to spread false stories. @Joe Biden replied to a direct question from @georgelopez . I know because I was there. “

Lopez agreed. He wrote on Twitter: “Thanks Ana! Ditto: Nobody mentions my name because if they do, it’s not a problem #Facts. “

An editor’s note was added today to the online publication of the report.

“Joe Biden’s video about the 2020 election and” four more years of George … “comes from an interview Biden had with George Lopez on Sunday,” the show said. “The fact that Biden spoke to George Lopez was a relevant and helpful context that should have been included in the original report.”

The Trump campaign also broadcast a video from the Today segment.
