#Roommates, 2021 has started with a bang for R&B sister duo Chloe x Halle – and this latest news around the two is about one of the biggest beauty brands in the world! Neutrogena just announced that Chloe x Halle are the latest celebrity brand ambassadors, making them the first to do so.
After setting up separate Instagram accounts earlier this year and closing the internet with a string of viral online challenges, Chloe x Halle is rising again and being endorsed by popular beauty brand Neutrogena. According to reports from @WWD, Chloe Bailey, 22, and Halle Bailey, 20, have just been named the brand’s newest ambassadors – and they are reportedly the first musicians to ever hold the title.
Kerry Sullivan, Vice President Marketing at Neutrogena’s parent company, Johnson & Johnson, said the following about Chloe x Halle as the brand’s new faces:
“These aren’t celebrity faces, or just pretty faces. Of course they are beautiful, but for themselves they really have a whole story to tell and they live a whole life. They believe in using a brand and their own platform to truly reach the next generation of consumers, and do so authentically by uplifting the next generation of consumers. So we were very much aligned with the Neutrogena brand values. “
She went on to add:
“They just have a natural passion when we spoke to them and, frankly, a curiosity about the science behind skin care. These girls are really an inspiration. They are creators, they are performers. They are good to each other as sisters, they are good to their fans and their followers. They are very reliable for young millennial and Generation Z consumers who want to learn more about what brands stand for and what is behind a brand. “
Halle spoke of being a Neutrogena fan and connecting with the company’s previous ads. “My sister and I have really connected with the brand since we were young girls, like the Face Splash commercials. We’re all about skin care and we try to be very authentic, real people and ultimately show that outside, ”she said.
Meanwhile, Chloe announced that her favorite Neutrogena product is the sunscreen. “Women of all colors, ages, and skin types can use it [Neutrogena’s] Sunscreen with no white sheen. There is actually a nice shine to it. “
