Cuomo Needs to ‘Choke,’ ‘Punch’ Critics, Tucker Uncovered Him Maskless

During the usual handover jokes between Chris “Fredo” Cuomo (PrimeTime) and Don Lemon (CNN Tonight) on Tuesday, the former showed his predilection for physical violence by saying he wanted to “suffocate” and “beat” his critics on the Fox News channel. “What could have caused it?” You might ask. Well, earlier that night, FNC host Tucker Carlson exposed Fredo again without being socially distant in public. You could even say he was a hypocrite.

Cuomo’s anger flashed when Lemon asked him how to properly deal with his “critics” on “State Television,” the not-so-clever nickname CNN has for its higher-rated competitor. “Naked choke,He blurted out. “A blow in the sternum. “Lemon said it was best to just ignore them.

But something was clearly under Fredo’s skin. Well, we can’t know for sure, but earlier that night Carlson spent a little over four and a half minutes of his opening monologue proving Fredo a hypocrite when it came to wearing masks in the age of coronavirus.

After playing a video from Cuomo was absolutely mad about President Trump not wearing a mask with anyone around him and calling it “bullshit”, Carlson mocked him for the “undescribed” moment. “Trump was standing on the balcony of the White House and was a human bio-weapon, a weapon of mass destruction. It was immoral and Chris Cuomo would know exactly how immoral it was because he did it himself, ”he reminded the audience.

Carlson recalled how Fredo was caught breaking his quarantine last spring when he was with his family and friends while he was still contagious and without anyone (including himself) wearing a mask. And he attacked the older man who found him and called him (click “Expand”):

CARLSON: This spring, Chris Cuomo got COVID. You may have noticed; They liked 27 shows in a row. Cuomo told us he was quarantined in his basement, but let’s face it, there are only so many squats to do in the mirror that it got boring after a while. So Chris Cuomo secretly left his house, took off his mask – oh yes, ladies and gentlemen – and walked through the Hamptons. As he wandered, he immediately met this man who wondered what he was doing and wondered. And here is what happened next.

DAVID WHELAN: And I just said, “Don’t you have the coronavirus? Shouldn’t you be quarantined”? And I think his next words were, “What the hell do you know about it, what do you know about the rules?” [SCREEN WIPE] I said you shouldn’t be out here, nobody had gloves on, nobody had masks on.

“Okay, it turns out that Chris Cuomo doesn’t think he has to wear a mask outside,” he added as he dispelled the notion that he and his show were against wearing masks in general. “Masks are great, they have their place, surgeons wear masks in operating rooms, people have been masks in elevators and crowded shops, good for them, it probably helps. We’ve been discussing this for six months, ”he said.

But the evidence of Cuomo’s COVID hypocrisy didn’t stop there. Carlson had a picture of Fredo whipping his nose in a fancy Long Island restaurant last weekend: “Chris Cuomo calls us immoral because we doubted the rules, and then privately whips his mask off as soon as he can . Here are pictures of Chris Cuomo standing in a Long Island restaurant this weekend, cigar in hand but no mask. “

“Again, we don’t judge Chris Cuomo. Chris Cuomo judges us, ”Carlson quipped.

DON LEMON: And when someone – after someone pissed you off for a while – you know you have your critics Chris, a lot of them on state television, like me. How do I best deal with it? You just ignore it.

CHRIS CUOMO: Naked choke.

LEMON: Just – no. Just ignore it.

CUOMO: A punch in the sternum.

LEMON: If you ignore people, that’s the worst thing you can do to someone.

TUCKER CARLSON: So this is what maximum hysteria must look like. Cable news can’t possibly get overheated, you have to think. [Laughter] No yes it can, and CNN tried everything last night to beat it.

Now there’s a downside, unfortunately, their anchors aren’t quite as articulate as the guys at MSNBC, the anchor you just saw [Lawrence O’Donnell] went to Harvard, the CNN anchor had to be content with Yule, and only because his father was the governor. So he doesn’t have that many words to choose from when trying to express his total indignation. Instead, he works blue and the cheeky language lets you know how angry he is.

CHRIS CUOMO: There he is. Majestically blown hair re-photographed the scene for its own display. “I hold rallies telling you to ignore masks and I’ll tear mine off while defeating the virus because I’m a leader. Do not be afraid, COVID. “What a bunch of Bull Sh[bleep].

CARLSON: Whoa, naughty! That word wasn’t in the command prompt or anything, it just came out completely blank.

When Chris Cuomo saw Donald Trump outdoors without a mask, he simply lost it. He honestly couldn’t believe a president would do something so obscene. Infected with COVID, but inhaling exactly the air that circulates in our common atmosphere, killing millions in the process. Trump stood on the balcony of the White House and was a human bio-weapon, a weapon of mass destruction. It was immoral and Chris Cuomo would know exactly how immoral it was for doing it himself.

This spring, Chris Cuomo got COVID. While he was hiking, he immediately met this man who wondered what he was doing and wondered. And here is what happened next.

DAVID WHELAN: And I just said, “Don’t you have the coronavirus? Shouldn’t you be quarantined”? And I think his next words were, “What the hell do you know about it, what do you know about the rules?” [Transition] I said you shouldn’t be out here, nobody had gloves on, nobody had masks on.

CARLSON: Okay, it turns out that Chris Cuomo doesn’t think he has to wear a mask outside. This is where we get outraged on the show. He works in a competing network. We just can’t believe he did that. We hate Chris Cuomo for not wearing a mask.

But we won’t tell you that. We’ll tell you the truth, it’s okay that Chris Cuomo didn’t wear a mask outside, we don’t judge him. Masks are great, they have their place, surgeons wear masks in operating rooms, people have been masks in elevators and crowded stores, good for them, it probably helps. We argued this for six months before the surgeon general himself recommended masks. We thought why would masks be a bad idea? So we are not against masks, we will never be.

But wear a mask while you ride a bike? While you jog? When you are alone in your car while walking in the woods when you are standing on the beach? It’s just crazy. That’s an insult to science. It’s an insult to common sense. Rules like these make people cynical, if you force them to do unreasonable things, they will never believe you again. Rules like these don’t help anyone and yet are omnipresent.

Outside masks are required in many democratically controlled areas of law. It’s the law. You have no choice. Such rules are not about public health. Such rules are a form of obedience training. They are trying to see what they can make you do. They can make you do a lot, as it turns out. Most of the time we do what they tell us to do. We don’t say anything. Partly because people like Chris Cuomo approach us when we break the rules.

Chris Cuomo calls us immoral because we doubt the rules and then privately whips his mask off as soon as he can. Here are pictures of Chris Cuomo standing in a Long Island restaurant this weekend, cigar in hand but no mask.

Again, we don’t judge Chris Cuomo. Chris Cuomo judges us. And that’s the point.
