Drake Despatched A Private Birthday Message To A 14-Yr-Outdated Fan Battling Mind Most cancers

TSR Positive Images: Every birthday has been a special one for Zelek Murray, but over the past five years celebrating has taken on a new meaning. Zelek has been diagnosed with a rare form of brain tumor and every day is a festival. On his 14th birthday, Zelek had no idea that he would receive the gift of his life.

From his hospital bed, Zelek received a personal birthday message from his favorite rapper Drake, a gift that Zelek’s mother says meant the world to him. Canadian songwriter Mustafa The Poet told Drizzy about Zelek’s story and helped make the magic happen.

“It was so warm and touching because Drake took the time to give my son encouraging and easy words in a time that was very dark for me and my family,” says Zelek’s mother Temeka. “The birthday touched him in a way that I can never put into words.”

Temeka says that she and Zelek really appreciate Drake’s gesture, and she believes Drizzy deserves praise for what he did for her and her son.

She also wanted to thank everyone who sent prayers and messages of love and encouragement during her son’s fight against brain cancer.

“We really appreciate all of the love and support and we need your continued prayers,” she said.

And this wouldn’t be the first time Drake has made an effort to help fans in need. In 2016, Drake surprised a young cancer patient named Megan by her bedside with Rihanna.
