Hunter Biden Media Protection Group Assemble! Community Hacks Parrot Dem Speaking Factors

After barely reporting on the recent corruption allegations against Hunter Biden On WednesdayOn Thursday morning, the networks jumped into full Democratic protection mode, spinning for Hunter and Joe Biden, and reiterating the topics of conversation about no wrongdoing. The range is still embarrassingly small – Thursday’s two-hour Good Morning America allowed just under 39 seconds – but all networks were doing their best to please the new Democratic president. None of them featured critics of Joe or Hunter Biden.

Speaking on NBC today, co-host Savannah Guthrie said the son is being investigated by the Justice Department over his taxes and ties to China and Ukraine. She said, “Hunter Biden has denied any wrongdoing. His father’s transition team said the president-elect was “deeply proud of his son, adding that he had struggled through personal attacks over the past few months to come out empowered.”

At the beginning of the show, Kristen Welker repeated the exact same quote: “The Biden Transition Team added, “President-elect Biden is deeply proud of his son, who has overcome difficult challenges, including the vicious personal attacks of the past few months, in order to appear stronger.‘”

Welker added, “Hunter Biden has denied any wrongdoing.” This Thursday allowed just 109 seconds for the scandal that swirled around the president-elect’s son. Still, that’s more than 39 seconds for Good Morning America. ABC correspondent Mary Bruce used this precious time promoting the corporate line:

Hunter Biden says he is being investigated by federal attorneys in Delaware over his taxes. The details of this investigation are unknown, but in a statement Hunter Biden says that he takes the matter very seriously and is confident that they have handled his matter “legally and appropriately”. Hunter Biden was, of course, a frequent target of President Trump during the election campaign.

CBS This Morning did a little better at 72 seconds. But political correspondent Ed O’Keefe still sounded exactly like his rivals on ABC and NBC. He repeated Joe Biden’s statement:

Mr Biden’s youngest son was the subject of Congressional and media investigations into his work in China and Ukraine when his father was Vice President. But no probe found evidence of wrongdoing. In a statement Tuesday, Mr. Biden said: “He is deeply proud of his son who has overcome difficult challenges, including vicious personal attacks over the past few months, in order to come forward.”

Democratic propaganda on ABC was sponsored by Kia. On CBS, Cadillac supported the democratic effort. At NBCs Today, Target was the sponsor. Click the links to share your thoughts.
