JP Richards, WB’s World Advertising and marketing Co-Chief, Exiting In WarnerMedia Restructure – .

JP Richards will step down as co-president of global marketing for Warner Bros, another victim of the WarnerMedia restructuring. Richards is a six year veteran in the studio. He started there as EVP of WW Digital Marketing and was then appointed EVP of WW Marketing and Chief Digital Strategist. After 12 years at Universal, he joined Warner Bros. and was SVP of Digital Marketing when he left.

The films he has worked most closely on include Joker, Crazy Rich Asians, Aquaman, You Won’t Get Old, Mad Max: Fury Road, and A Star Is Born. The news came Tuesday as Jason Kilar revealed the restructuring cuts. Richard is very well respected and will be staying in the studio until February.

This follows exactly the departure of Jim Gallagher, who will leave his post as EVP Marketing Animation and Family Films.
