Kelly Clarkson Estranged Husband Searching for $436Okay In Month-to-month Spousal & Youngster Assist Funds

Roommate, divorce is never nice, but it gets uglier when it comes to money! Kelly Clarkson is one of the youngest celebs to sign these papers, and although she has just won custody of her and Brandon Blackstock’s two children, he’s not ready to go away without a big payday.

According to TMZ, Kelly and Brandon had been in a heated battle over custody of their two young children, 6-year-old River and 4-year-old Remy. Well, that fight has ended and Kelly won custody.

It was later reported that shortly after the custody ruling, Brandon filed legal documents asking Kelly for $ 436,000 per month. $ 301,000 of that money goes to spouse benefits and $ 135,000 to childcare. He is also reportedly asking for legal fees of $ 2 million.

We can’t say for sure whether Brandon is just a sore loser in terms of the custody battle or not, but it’s pretty suspicious that he would file in favor of Kelly Clarkson right after the judge’s verdict.

Kelly’s attorney argued that her children would be in a more stable environment with Kelly in Los Angeles, as opposed to a joint custody arrangement where they would live part-time with their father in Montana.

“The court finds that the underage children are not now and not a Montana resident and that California is their home state,” argued Laura Wasser.
