Late ‘Jeopardy!’ Host Alex Trebek Omitted From Personal Memoir’s Grammy Nod – .

Late danger! Host Alex Trebek was removed from the nomination list for the 2021 Grammy Awards, despite the fact that his memoir Alex Trebek – The Answer Is … received a nod for the award for the best spoken world album of the ceremony. In place of Trebek, who died of pancreatic cancer on November 8, Ken Jennings received the nomination for Trebek’s memoir.

“This should be 100% Alex’s Grammy nomination. He wrote this book and reads so much for the audio book! “The Jeoapardie! GOAT said on Twitter following the nomination announcement on Tuesday. “Who am I talking to?”

Trebek and Jennings both narrated the former’s memoirs published by Simon & Schuster. Although the publisher has both the Jeopardy! Host and champion, only Jennings received the nomination.

News of Jennings Grammy nomination for Trebek’s memoir came less than two days after Jeopardy! Officials announced that the quiz show GOAT will be the first guest host to take over the series when it goes back into production on Nov. 30.

The deadline asked Simon & Schuster to comment on Trebek’s omission.

See Jenning’s reaction on social media below.
