The first look at Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special has appeared. The trailer and key art for the December 4th event for Apple TV + were revealed on Friday.
The show will feature Carey with Tiffany Haddish, Billy Eichner, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, Misty Copeland and Mykal-Michelle Harris, as well as Carey’s 9-year-old twins, son Moroccan and daughter Monroe.
The special thing is that the world is facing a Christmas crisis that the North Pole knows only one person can solve: Mariah Carey, Santa’s great friend. Carey (spoiler alert) combines musical performances, dance and animation and saves the day.
The soundtrack single and new music video for “Oh Santa!”, Co-written by Carey with Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson, will be distributed by Sony Music and released on Apple Music and other streaming platforms on December 4th.
The accompanying soundtrack for the special will include a new version of “Sleigh Ride” as well as Snoop Dogg and Jermaine Dupri as additional musical guests. The soundtrack will be available exclusively on Apple Music on December 4th and on all other platforms on December 11th.
The Apple TV + subscription service is available for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch, Mac, selected Samsung, LG, Sony and VIZIO Smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV and Roku devices, PlayStation and Xbox Consoles and available on tv.apple. com.
