Recently, Masika Kalysha and Jamar Champ celebrated their engagement to their close family and friends. Unfortunately, a few days later they sparked rumors that there might be problems in paradise after fans realized they were no longer following each other on Instagram, and they posted some subliminal messages on their stories.
In an exclusive statement to The Shade Room, Masika has confirmed that she has canceled her engagement to Jamar.
She said, “I made the difficult decision to break off my engagement. As a public figure, I understand that I am not entitled to the privileges most people would have. Based on this knowledge, I do everything I can to ensure the privacy, security and protection of my family members and intimate relationships. “
Masika continued, “Unfortunately, the man I wanted to spend my life with abused me behind closed doors and continues to use me publicly to draw attention from my name to my detriment.”

We were up front in Houston a few days ago and at the center of the former couple’s engagement party. At the party, Jamar Masika’s daughter gave Khari a new ring, put it on a necklace, and put it around her neck.
Earlier this month, Masika confirmed her engagement to Jamar and said, “I met my fiancé 10 years ago. Bent it for 97% of those 10 years. Together for 4 months. He asked me to marry him 4 days ago. Last night I asked him what made you so sure after only 4 months of dating. He said I knew 10 years ago, the day I met you, that I was going to marry you. “
Masika and Jamar posted a series of quotes on their Instagram stories that sparked that something was wrong with their relationship.
