As you may know, the star couple will be parents for the first time early next year!
Besides that, they kept the pregnancy a secret for a long time, but a few weeks ago the artist took advantage of social media to finally share the news along with a sonogram picture of the future child!
At the time, she didn’t say she had a boy or a girl so fans were definitely looking forward to this announcement!
Sure enough, the answer to this burning question was just coming!
Taking a quick look at the upcoming episode of the Kelly Clarkson Show, Meghan makes it clear that she kept the baby’s gender a secret from everyone exclusively on Clarkson’s show just because she’s such a huge fan!
“We have never told anyone before … I saved it for you, Kelly [Clarkson]”I love you,” said the mother of the host.
However, she went on to explain that she would have her husband and brother revealed the gender.
That being said, Ryan Trainor and Daryl Sabara virtually turned on the show to scream in excitement, “It’s a boy!”
Regarding preparations for his arrival, Meghan admitted she hasn’t bought anything for the bundle of joy.
“I’m a little more than halfway there. I don’t know when to buy something. People want to buy me things, but I ask myself, ‘I’m going to have two cribs? What am I doing? Help me.”
Then Meghan Trainor also went to her IG account to share the same news and wrote alongside the clip: “So happy we got to share this with you FIRST on your great show.”

Her actor husband also revealed it on his own platform, writing, ‘IT’S A BOY !!! You will be the BEST mom @meghan_trainor. I love you!’
