Former news anchor Megyn Kelly doubles up against President Donald Trump and his supporters and continues her unlikely reconciliation with a man who once had her on his enemy list.
Kelly competes against all comers on Twitter, including some celebrities for election results. She mainly defends Trump’s supporters who she claims have been demonized by the left.
Although the Kelly tone on President Trump has waned over the years, and Kelly is a huge supporter of Trump’s recent debates, it’s still somewhat surprising that she would interfere at this point.
The animosity between Kelly and the Trump camp began during the 2015 GOP presidential debates when Kelly Trump expressed pressure on his past behavior and comments towards women. That sparked an anti-Kelly tweet storm against the president for months. They eventually reconciled in a softer interview in 2016.
Kelly has been largely confined to her own social media since 2018 when she was forced out of her inappropriate position on NBC’s Today Show.
