MSNBC Visitor Warns Biden: ‘Pony Up,’ Do not Simply ‘Appease’ White Folks

Let the games begin!

We got a glimpse this morning of the kind of civil war that is brewing within the Democratic Party, should Joe Biden actually become the next president.

Brittney Cooper, a Rutgers professor of women, gender and Africana studies, appeared on MSNBC’s AM Joy show and delivered a strong warning to Biden. Her demand: Biden must “deal” with politics and “real investments” for blacks in general and black women in particular, which she said was responsible for his victory [if such it was.]

Your warning to Biden: “Don’t make this an appeal to centrist voters and Trump voters” or spend too much time “appeasing white voters”.

Cooper said her eyes would be “laser focused” on Biden / Harris and predicted there would be “tough wrestling” in the coming months. No doubt. If a Biden presidency comes about, popcorn is sure to play a big role in conservative circles!

When it comes to not appeasing conservatives, Cooper definitely practices what she preaches. In 2015, she was caught doing this by NewsBusters The god worshiped by religious law is. . . an “a ** hole”.

Note: MSNBC’s Ari Melber, who hosted the show as a guest, politely agreed with Cooper’s views, saying, “All of these important points.”

MSNBC guest’s warning to Joe Biden that he must “pony”, not just “appease” white voters was sponsored in part by Allstate, Proctor & Gamble, makers of Vicks, and Shark Vacuums.

BRITTNEY COOPER: Look, I think this part of the thing that the Democratic Party really needs to think about – and This will be Joe Biden’s reckoning – if you are going to take office and do this to appeal to centrist voters, do this to appeal to Trump votersdo you do this via some kind of simple unit?

. . .

Now you actually have to pony a political agenda that addresses black interests. And be It will not be a matter of centering and reassuring the 70 million voters who voted for a completely different kind of world.

And so I’m both excited and excited about what this means, however I kept my eyes on Joe Biden and Kamala Harris because Blacks are demanding real political concessions here to make our communities better, real investments.

And We don’t want to be united with the people who would help Donald Trump achieve another victory. We demand a forward-looking, future-oriented agenda. and you can’t celebrate black women, you can’t celebrate kamala, stacey and rep [-elect] Nikema [Williams] and Latosha Brown [of Black Lives Matter]and all these black women who made this thing happen and then got into office and put all your attention on it appeasing white voters because they fell out of the fold. That cannot be the political agenda of this moment. And I think We’re going to have tough truths and tough wrestling in the next couple of months.
