Professional-Life Teams Rejoice As SCOTUS Protects Unborn Kids From Mail-Order Abortion Medicine

Despite all of the bad news on the Trump administration over the past week, President Trump’s commitment to protecting the most innocent and vulnerable of us has brought another major victory for life.

According to LifeNews.com, the Conservative majority in the Supreme Court upheld an FDA rule preventing women from receiving dangerous abortion drugs in the mail without first consulting a doctor in person. Of course, maintaining further protection between a woman and the total convenience of killing her unborn child is an extreme necessity in order to save many unborn lives, as well as the health and lives of vulnerable, naive mothers.

According to the outlet, the Trump administration is appealing a ruling by a Maryland judge who “suspended a food and drug administration safety rule for the abortion drug mifepristone after abortion groups were sued.” Last July, these pro-abortion groups convinced Judge Theodore Chuang that requiring women to see a doctor before requesting abortive drugs puts them at risk of contracting the coronavirus.

The point of sale wrote that these groups argued that “the FDA should end its request for the drug to be personally provided as it would protect women from possible exposure to the coronavirus in an abortion facility.”

Shortly thereafter, the Trump administration appealed the judge’s ruling, arguing that “it would be safer for women to see a doctor first, as the drug can kill or injure women in certain medical situations.”

As LifeNews noted:

In the United States, mifepristone has been linked to at least 24 female deaths and 4,000 serious complications. Risks of mifepristone and misoprostol, the most common abortion drugs taken together to abort an unborn baby and then expelled from the womb, include excessive bleeding, severe abdominal pain, infection, and bleeding.

Fortunately, on Tuesday January 12, the entire Conservative majority at SCOTUS – which included Trump’s three picks – Justices Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett – voted 6-3 in favor of Trump’s appeal and the reintroduction of FDA safety rules.

Life advocacy group Susan B. Anthony List praised SCOTUS ‘decision as “a great victory for life”. Explaining the importance of the case on Twitter, they stated, “Planned parenting and the abortion lobby even attempted to take advantage of the #COVID 19 pandemic to promote mailed abortion, promote DIY at-home abortions and increase the risk of serious complications. “

Live Action founder Lila Rose described the Supreme Court ruling on social media as “a small but positive step”. She also claimed, “NO abortion should be allowed by law, either at home or in the clinic.”

Students for the Life of America declared “VICTORY !!!” on Jan. 12, elaborating that the deregulation of “chemical abortion” contested by the Trump administration is “dangerous for women and fatal for prenatal people in the womb”.

As the Democrats gain more government power in this final election, Trump’s commitment to protecting unborn children will be critical in repelling attacks against the most vulnerable among us. Perhaps these little pro-life victories will help us get through the obscurity of a Biden Harris government.
