‘The Good Physician’ Star Richard Schiff Hospitalized With COVID-19 – .

Richard Schiff, star of ABC’s The Good Doctor, and his wife, actress Sheila Kelley, who repeats ABC’s medical drama, gave an update on Monday on their ongoing COVID-19 battle. The two had tested positive on November 3rd.

Both revealed on social media that Schiff was hospitalized. Schiff wrote on Twitter that he was being treated with remdesivir, oxygen and steroids and that he was “showing some improvement every day.” Kelley “is home and doing better, but he’s still pretty sick,” said Schiff.

It’s unclear when Schiff was hospitalized, but Kelley wrote on Instagram that “the last 72 hours with Schiff in the hospital have been tough with oxygen and remdesivir.” “He’s doing better. Getting stronger,” she said.

Kelley also revealed that her son is also fighting COVID.

“I’ve never seen anything like it,” wrote Kelley. “One minute I’m feeling pretty good and the next I’m having trouble breathing.”

The Good Doctor stayed in production after Schiff and Kelley were diagnosed with COVID in Vancouver. I hear filming continues and the schedule is being reshuffled to accommodate the duo’s temporary absence.

Both Schiff and Kelley thanked the fans for their good wishes. Additionally, Kelley had a message for her. “Keep masking. Wash your hands. Stay away from the virus. It is a mother. “

In The Good Doctor, Schiff plays Dr. Aaron Glassman, Shaun’s (Freddie Highmore) mentor and good friend. Kelley plays Glassman’s wife.
