Twitter Allowed Lincoln Mission to Harass Trump Attorneys

Twitter eventually removed a post from the Lincoln Project and reportedly restricted the organization’s account after initially allowing the posts to remain visible.

They know that haters of President Donald Trump like the NeverTrump organization The Lincoln Project have gone too far for even Twitter to restrict them. The Lincoln Project was fined for “tweeting the business phone numbers, email addresses and photos of Ronald Hicks and Carolyn McGreeand to its 2.7 million followers” and asking its supporters to “make them famous,” reported Business Insider on November 11th. The tweet sharing contact information has since been removed, but Business Insider reportedly has an archived copy.

“The tweet that is referenced violates the Twitter rules for abusive behavior,” a Twitter spokesman told Fox News. “The account owner must delete the offending tweet before they can regain access to their account.” The Lincoln Project was in fact later “banned from Twitter Tuesday after the contact details of the lawyers working on President Donald Trump’s election challenges were released,” Business Insider reported.

The rule violating the Lincoln Project Tweet has since been deleted because it “broke the Twitter rules”. However, after being allowed to stay online long enough to have at least 5.6,000 retweets and 9.4,000 likes (according to the screenshot), the Lincoln Project was molested. The campaign against Trump’s allied lawyers, Ronald Hicks and Carolyn McGee, was already over in full swing.

In a post below, supporters were asked to “defend your democracy” by taking three steps to harass the enemies of the Lincoln Project:

“1. Create a LinkedIn account.

“2. Message someone who works at @JonesDay or @PorterWright.

“3. Ask them how they can work for an organization that is trying to overthrow the will of the American people.”

Following the Lincoln Project, followers were asked to “reply with screenshots of your messages” and some of them were re-tweeted.

The Lincoln Project also called its attack dog fans to harass GSA Administrator Emily W. Murphy, claiming, “She is a Trump agent at the GSA who refuses to sign the letter that marked the beginning of Biden – Transitionally Approved. “The Lincoln Project called,” Call her and tell her to treat Biden like any other elected president. ”

Twitter has already rightly cracked down on the Lincoln Project’s offensive tactics.

The Lincoln Project was previously reviewed by Twitter to share a clip of Trump’s Independence Day speech that was completely taken out of context. The video, which Twitter claimed was “edited to make it look like the president is saying Operation Desert Storm took place in Vietnam,” was tweeted by The Lincoln Project.

The group had it under the heading “What’s wrong with the president?” The video, which has since been deleted, has been tagged with a manipulated media interstitial or filter linked to a Twitter Events page. The event page was titled “Donald Trump did not say Operation Desert Storm took place in Vietnam, Snopes and CNN reporters confirm.”

The Lincoln Project was funded in part by Walmart heiress and billionaire Christy Walton, who donated $ 20,000 to the group in January. One of its members, GOP strategist Rick Wilson, has shown hatred of rural white Americans who supported Trump last January. In the infamous exchange, Wilson referred to Trump voters as “the gullible Boomer Rube demo”. He has used similar language in other interviews, for example when he criticized: “The wall has always been a disadvantage for Donald Trump’s gullible ten-tooth base.”
