Twitter Sued By Repairman Who Claimed To Work On Hunter Biden Laptop computer – .

The owner of a Mac repair shop filed a $ 500 million defamation lawsuit against Twitter Monday, claiming the platform defamed him for blocking the New York Post’s revelation about Hunter Biden.

John Paul Mac Isaac, the owner of the store, was at the center of the pre-election story of the New York Post alleging receiving email from Biden’s laptop. When the story was published, Twitter banned the Post’s account, saying it was against its policy on disseminating hacked material. It also prevented other users from sharing the story.

But Mac Isaac claims that Twitter defamed him in taking the action because he “is now widely regarded as a hacker” and “received negative reviews of his business and threats to his person and property.”

Twitter will not broadcast Donald Trumps @ POTUS followers to Joe Biden next year

A Twitter spokesman said they had no comment.

Mac Isaac’s lawsuit alleges that on April 12, 2019, he was asked to recover information from a laptop allegedly owned by Biden. The next day, according to the lawsuit, he called Biden to tell him that the data was being restored. An invoice was sent on April 17th, but Biden never paid for it or accessed the hard drive. According to the lawsuit, the repair permit signed by Biden allowed equipment left in the store after 90 days to be treated as “abandoned” and the store would not be held liable for damage or loss of property.

The lawsuit alleges that Mac Isaac had “multiple interactions” with the FBI and Robert Costello, attorney for Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, between July 2019 and October 14, 2020. The lawsuit does not specify how the FBI or Costello were contacted. The Post released the story “after it received the information from Giuliani,” the lawsuit said, but does not disclose how the information was obtained. Mac Isaac said he shared the hard drive with Costello.

Mac Isaac “didn’t know the NY Post had any information off the disk or that a story was about to be published,” the lawsuit states.

The story didn’t generate the kind of mainstream media attention that Trump and his allies had hoped would come: evidence of gun smoking that Hunter Biden’s father, President-elect Joe Biden, got into the business of his Son was involved.

Other publications, including the Wall Street Journal, failed to substantiate the corruption allegations, and other outlets said they were unable to verify the authenticity of the email allegedly coming from the laptop.

Hunter Biden said last month that his taxes are the subject of a federal investigation, but he is “confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will show that I have handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors.” ”
