The Breakaway Reality didn’t begin to describe what happened on CNN’s Erin Burnett OutFront Monday night. The retired Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson was his usual awkward self when he announced that the 2020 presidential election was perfect before claiming (without evidence) that Kentucky “had been cheated a little” to re-elect Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell (R). And he completely ignored the Russian joke, claiming that Republicans would never be investigated for fraud.
And everything was undisputed by Kate Bolduan, the presenter.
It was a segment to criticize President Trump for allegations he made by staff that misled the idiot’s idea of invoking martial law to re-run the election. Wilkerson initially equated the President’s staff with “rats” and proposed that General Michael Flynn (retired) be forced back into active duty and sent to prison:
I think we see how desperate Trump gets to himself and how desperate the last remaining rats on the ship, if you will, get because of it. We see Bannon appear to be back on the scene, probably most eager to seek forgiveness.
We’re seeing things that you just pointed out, General Flynn – I don’t know if I was in charge of the military, if I was the chairman (the Joint Chiefs) or if I was appropriately the Secretary of Defense, I would probably get Flynn back in call active duty and then prosecute him under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. You can collect your cargo there. Incitement to rebellion or whatever. They are desperate people.
“We just went through a election that was monumental. It turns out that there have been more Americans since World War II than at any other election, maybe even before that as a percentage, ”praised Wilkerson as he continued his rant. “More Americans have voted and voted using various methods. States upheld their laws, upheld their precedents, upheld their protocols. You did a good job. “
Citing his legitimacy as a supposed Republican, he then suggested, without evidence, that McConnell and Democrat Amy McGrath had cheated in the Kentucky Senate race:
Maybe Kentucky was cheating a little. I think the race in Kentucky, where Mitch McConnell was re-elected against all of the percentages above, and finish the poll. And maybe there was something, but you never look to the Republicans to cheat. And I can tell you that. I am a republican.
“But I think that choice was incredibly well made, wonderfully well made. And we should praise the states and all the people in the states that have done it, ”he added.
The idea that Republicans have never been the subject of fraud investigations would be ridiculous if it weren’t so absurd. Most of President Trump’s tenure has been marred by the Russian collusion fraud. For three years, the media pushed the false narrative that Trump won in 2016 because Russia “hacked the elections”.
Neera Tanden, the Director of Administration and Budget appointed by President-elect Biden, was a driving force behind the conspiracy theory that Russia hacked electoral systems and changed votes for Trump.
Both allegations were outrageous, but they were totally undisputed by Bolduan, who turned a blind eye and continued to knock Trump on his similar claims about the election.

But I remember something Colin Powell often used to admonish military and State Department officials. Don’t let your fears advise you. And I think that’s one of the things we have to do now.
