Fredo Spews HATE: GOP ‘Against Reducing Little one Poverty,’ Serving to Poor

CNN host Chris “Fredo” Cuomo was foaming at his mouth during prime time on Monday as he spat poison and hatred against Senate Republicans for speaking out against the lavish pork in the COVID relief bill. Fredo told lies about the GOP’s opposition to helping hungry Americans and reducing child poverty, but it wasn’t until the end of his chatter that he admitted that the Senate Republicans were right.

“Right now we have more hungry children and adults than ever in this country since the Great Depression. Why? Because of COVID, ”he said at the top of his opening monologue. “The problem is so big and so persistent that President Biden says the solution should be too.”

Fredo used that as a stepping stone and immediately started beating the law up with his trumped-up allegations. His evidence? A highly edited video from Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY):

CUOMO: Not so fast, say the right side of the hallway. Much of this aid is for the poor, for the hungry, the desperate, not really for COVID. So let’s not do it. Do you think I’ll make it up to you? Listen to the opposition leader.

MCCONNELL: Only nine percent are concerned with fighting the virus itself. [Transition] You get this massive bill with just one percent, percent for vaccinations. [Transition] It’s crammed with non-COVID-related issues that even top liberal economists say is wrong for recovery.

You think McConnell would give this speech in Kentucky to the people who are broke and hungry there? “You don’t need that much help. It’s not really about COVID. ‘Cuomo scoffed and put a wrong quote in McConnell’s mouth.

He added, “What is it then? Tell them that despite the fact that the rapidly emerging deadlines affect millions of people, you delayed this process. Because you just don’t think people need that much help. So the Democrats had to pull this off with zero Republican support. “

Fredo, who last week claimed he was “inside blackThen the situation was racing. “Opposition is the position, especially when it comes to racing“He said with no evidence.

For all we know about Fredo, maybe he was talking about his heart.

And with the help of a soundbite from President Joe Biden, Fredo falsely claimed that the GOP preferred to see children suffer:

CUOMO: And what about the kids? The opposition party says it looks after children but does not want to help them get out of poverty. Listen to Biden.

BIDEN: This plan will make it possible to cut child poverty in half. Let me say it again It’s significant, historically. It will cut child poverty in half.

CUOMO: Just think about this suggestion. McConnell, Cotton, the opposition party – they are against cutting child poverty in half.

Shouldn’t CNN be facts first? At least that’s the last time Fredo left.

It was only towards the end of his screed that Cuomo admitted, “Is pork in this bill now? Hell, yes, there is, like so many others. It is probably bigger than it had to be. “But he qualified it with some Class A whataboutism.” The opposition party had no problem with pork and unfunded tax cuts when it did for the rich. “

What on earth was an “unfunded tax cut”? This is CNN. Detached from reality.

Chris “Fredo” Cuomo’s poison and hatred was made possible by lucrative sponsorships from Coventry Direct and Aboutwho got a special reputation when he went on break. Their contact information is linked so you can tell them about the hatred of Republicans who fund them.

CHRIS CUOMO: Right now we have more hungry children and adults than ever in this country since the Great Depression. Why? Because of COVID. Millions may have plunged into poverty for the first time in their lives. Millions of others are already fighting and falling into deeper despair. I know many of you who are watching are among them and you know the cause of your pain. COVID. The problem is so big and so persistent that President Biden says the solution should be too.

Not so fast, say the right side of the hallway. Much of this aid is for the poor, for the hungry, the desperate, not really for COVID. So let’s not do it. Do you think I’ll make it up to you? Listen to the opposition leader.

SEN. MITCH MCCONNELL (R-KY): Only nine percent are concerned with fighting the virus itself. [Transition] You get this massive bill with just one percent, percent for vaccinations. [Transition] It’s crammed with non-COVID-related issues that even top liberal economists say is wrong for recovery.

CUOMO: Do you think McConnell would give this speech in Kentucky to the people who are broke and hungry there? “You don’t need that much help. It’s not really about COVID. “

Then what is it about? Tell them that despite the fact that the rapidly emerging deadlines affect millions of people, you delayed this process. Because you just don’t think people need that much help.

So the Democrats had to pull this off with zero Republican support. The idea that this is a bipartisan job implies that the opposition party will want to do something with the Democrats, and you know it is not.

So, yes, it was a bottleneck, and Biden will now have sole credit for bringing this country the greatest aid package for people, not just banks, in a long time. In terms of timing, the bill should be on his desk by Wednesday unless the opposition party finds another way to slow the process down.

(…)

CUOMO: Opposition is the position, especially when it comes to racing. Why should one give it to prisoners now? Proponents will argue that the aid money will help those behind bars if they get out soon in a period of high unemployment. You like it you don’t like it Either way fair. You can make the argument. But [Sen. Tom] cotton [R-AR] has no hill except on hater hill because he voted for what he now says he rejects.

And what about the kids? The opposition party says it looks after children but does not want to help them get out of poverty. Listen to Biden.

PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN: This plan will make it possible to cut child poverty in half. Let me say it again It’s significant, historically. It will cut child poverty in half.

CUOMO: Just think of a suggestion. McConnell, Cotton, the opposition party – they are against cutting child poverty in half.

Is there pork in this bill? Hell, yes, there is, like so many others. It is probably bigger than it had to be. But be very clear. The opposition party had no problem with pork and unfunded tax cuts when it did for the rich. 83 cents from every dollar to the top percent. That was their reality then. Where are you now?
