Grownup Swim Names Deena Sanjana Seashore As VP Of Advertising – .
Tricia Melton, CMO of Warner Bros. Global Division for Kids, Young Adults and Classics, has appointed Deena Sanjana Beach as vice president of marketing for Adult Swim. In the new role, Beach will lead the development of the branding, marketing, media and social media strategy for all original series, stunts and networking initiatives across multiple platforms.
Los Angeles-based Beach will report to Melton.
“Deena is the type of marketer who can see the curve and really understand building multi-platform brands,” said Melton. “As Adult Swim expands worldwide, Deena brings valuable experience with the Gen Z audience. Their expertise in culture-driven branding will help Adult Swim continue to lead the way in adult entertainment. “
Beach was most recently vice president of marketing strategy and media for Freeform at The Walt Disney Company, where she successfully launched series such as Adult-Ish, Cloak & Dagger, Siren and Good Trouble. She built network holiday stunts like 25 Days of Christmas and 31 Nights of Halloween. Under her leadership, Freeform quickly expanded its experience and influencer marketing efforts, making the leap from a linear network to a true dual platform content provider for Hulu.
