CBS Lastly Discovers Cuomo’s Newest COVID Scandal, Give it Simply 20 Seconds

After this intentionally hidden The latest COVID scandal of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) from his viewers on Thursday morning. CBS eventually discovered how the corrupt governor ensured priority testing for his family (including CNN’s brother Chris “Fredo” Cuomo) during the Evening News. But with zero teasing throughout the program, Washington anchor and chief correspondent Major Garrett sprinted past history in 20 seconds.

Without mentioning the story during the opening speech or the pre-commercial hype, Garrett came back from a commercial break to quickly unload and start the story:

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is accused tonight of giving family members and political allies special access to COVID testing when tests were scarce. The Times-Union of Albany reports that the governor’s brother, CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, his mother and at least one sister have been tested by health officials. The governor’s office denied having received any special treatment.

in the Initial coverage from NewsBustersWhile CBS ignored the story, ABC’s Good Morning America and NBC’s Today both show dedicated full reports on Thursday morning.

But on Thursday night, NBC Nightly News dropped the story entirely when they hyped the running of the Olympic torch. Of course, they prioritized their contractual monopoly on Olympic broadcasting. They also featured political director Chuck Todd raving about the fact that President Biden didn’t have to ask questions about the pandemic at a press conference because the liberal media trusted him.

ABC’s World News Tonight wasn’t much better. Anchor David Muir and correspondent Victor Oquendo crammed the story into the last 32 seconds of a much larger coronavirus pandemic report, largely boasting that Biden doubled his vaccination goal.

“The other pandemic-related headline, allegations involving New York Governor Andrew Cuomo that he gave priority to COVID testing to members of his own family and other influential people in the early days of the pandemic. His answer, ”Muir asked weakly.

Oquendo gave a brief overview of the allegations against the governor:

David, the embattled governor, wondered after he reportedly allowed his family and others access to government-run websites – government-run tests at a time when the average person really couldn’t get a test. The governor said in response that at the time they were focused on tracing contacts and containing the spread of the virus.

In contrast to these networks, which wanted to get out of the scandal as soon as possible while doing what was necessary to say they covered it, Fox News Channel correspondent Bryan Llenas highlighted a New Yorker, theirs, in the special report Mother died in a nursing home while Cuomo was giving his mother special treatment.

VIVIAN RIVERA ZAYAS (voices for seniors): It’s shocking. I had a matilda [Cuomo] I had a Matilda that I would protect, that I supervised, that I stood up for her. And he protected his Matilda and sacrificed mine.

The network’s refusal to seriously delve into Governor Cuomo’s recent COVID scandal was made possible by lucrative sponsorships from TD Ameritrade on ABC, ancestry on CBS and Liberty Mutual on NBC. Their contact information is linked so you can let them know about the biased news they’re funding.
