The IFFAM Project Market (IPM) will return digitally this December for the fifth time during the International Film Festival & Awards Macau (December 3rd to 8th) with projects by Cate Blanchett, Eric Khoo and Camille Gatin. Scroll down for the listing.
According to the organizers, a total of 14 projects comprise the “intensive program of presentations and meetings that will be held digitally with members of global industry from December 3rd to 5th”. Four cash prizes are awarded for the projects (see below).
Projects include noted cinematographer Christopher Doyle’s collaboration with director Jenny Suen on the Cate Blanchett-produced comedy Peaches; Singaporean creature produced by Eric Khoo features Prisoners Of The Pacific; Sci-fi fellow travelers with Camille Gatin, producer of The Girl With All The Gifts; and The Dragon Returns, in which Bruce Lee is brought back from his staged death and retirement to save his old friend Chuck Norris from imprisonment.

There hasn’t been a word from Macau lately about whether the festival can physically take place this year, but given global travel restrictions and local bans on public gatherings, it’s likely that the event will have to take place online as well.
