Marsai Martin Breaks The Guinness World Report For Youngest Hollywood Government Producer

TSR Black Excellence: is there anything black girls and women can’t? How seriously. The magic of black girls can lead to anything including the Guinness World Records. While most 16 year olds have their first jobs or are learning to drive, Marsai Martin is really on a completely different playing field.

Her talent in film and filmmaking is recognized by Guinness after breaking the Guinness World Record for youngest Hollywood executive producer. She was only 14 years old when she produced the film “Little” in 2019, in which she also starred alongside Regina Hall and Issa Rae.

“It feels crazy, honestly,” Martin said in a video of her certificate presentation. “ONE world Recording? That’s crazy.”

Despite being 16 years old now, Marasi technically broke the record in 2019, but hasn’t been honored with that award – and officially declared a record-breaker by Guinness – until now.

“To be able to create a movie, act in it and be with your favorite stars and actually see the whole experience was so amazing,” Martin said during the certificate handover.

Marsai is said to have presented the idea for the film to “Black-ish” producer Kenya Barris, who was also one of the producers of the film when he was 10 years old. As you all know, Marsai was featured as Dianne in “Black.”

After the pitch was accepted, Martin signed a contract with Universal Pictures last year to develop scripting projects.

The recording ensures that it was only 14 and 241 days old when “Little” was released.

“Not only is she incredibly talented in front of the camera, but she also offers a unique perspective as a creator and producer that resonates with all viewers,” Universal Pictures president Peter Cramer said in a statement to CNN.

Martin will appear in the 2021 edition of the Guinness Physical World Record Book. In the meantime, her production company Genius Productions is working on another film, “StepMonster”.
