‘The Masked Singer’ Tops Wednesday As Election Protection Continues – .

While the country awaits election results, some took a break from nail biting to watch The Masked Singer Wednesday night. Fox’s reality singing contest lasted last week, delivering 1.6 in adults between 18 and 49 years old and a small spike in viewership with 6.28 million viewers. It served as an introduction to more vocals with I Can See Your Voice (1.1, 4.27M), which was picked up in the demo. The pair gave Fox the overall victory in prime time in both rating metrics.

NBC’s entire Wednesday night was occupied by election coverage (0.8, 3.41 million), which was down from Tuesday night, but still tops the demo compared to the other broadcasters in terms of coverage last night. Both ABC (0.5, 2.46 million) and CBS (0.3, 1.59 million) broadcast specials dedicated to the election at 10 p.m.

ABC’s Wednesday night sitcom block stayed on the demo with The Goldbergs (0.7, 3.66 million), American Housewife (0.6, 3.06 million) and The Conners (0.7, 3, 93 million) stable. Black-ish (0.4, 2.31 M) is down two tenths from last week.

The Amazing Race (0.7, 3.92 million) was on par with last week for CBS.

The Night of the CW included new episodes of Devils (0.1, 466,000) that were close to last week’s numbers, and Coroner (0.1, 686K) that stayed steady on the demo as they slipped in viewership.
